Great tutorial! One question I had is why wouldn't you filter out all of the highs for the main kick if you're going to use a top kick layer? Wouldn't the high frequencies of both kicks clash??
@Kyoshii_epic_weird_wonderful Жыл бұрын
Besides maybe a clash, also puting a reverb on a click can give a lot of high noise, so probably he is separating it to have more control over the reverb sound.
@zak-ce6ri Жыл бұрын
High frequencies can clash but bass is the worst for it. With high frequencies one will most likely dominate the other.

16:58 Hello, why is reverb at the top of the mixer. I thought the top should always be the EQ? Can you please explain, thank you
@clarkfielduk Жыл бұрын
there isn't really any particular order to process things, it depends on what it is. While you typically would want to EQ early on in the chain, in the instance you linked it doesn't really matter because the sound is from a sample pack anyway so it's already fairly heavily processed, so not much needs to be done. On top of that, the EQing he has done is primarily low-passing, and not corrective. If you're doing heavy corrective EQing it's definitely recommended you do that before you add any other effects to it, as if you do not, the frequencies you want to remove could be exaggerated by the plugins you add before the EQ.

Thank you very much for sharing its my favorite genre right now! But pls help me with the base. I bought your awesome pack and also use the Kronos preset. But the problem is that unlike in your video the base is loud in the beginning but gets more quiet. Pls help

Put the FIN down. The higher you go with them the faster the bass will get. FIN 0 is completely stable, FIN 100 is really dynamic:)

Do these packs apply for other DAWs other than FL Studio?
@TheProducerSchool2 жыл бұрын
The samples work in any DAW, as well as the presets as long as you have Serum. The project files are for FL Studio & Ableton Live only though.

Not a good purchase. Sorry guys, but I have to say it honestly...I paid 45€ for this pack and that's the result: 1. the kick racks don't work in my Ableton!! I immediately sent TPS a message and asked for help and never got an answer, I contacted Paypal buyer protection to get at least part of the money back, still no answer from TPS...there is no customer service here. 2. the sounds are completely ok, I repeat: completely OK but nothing from another world that is worth 45€... at Riemann Collection or Native Instruments there are samples and loops of the same quality for free!! 3. I paid 45€ and the next day there was the same pack for only 28€...why don't you have a note on your website where it says "hey guys from day x we have Black Friday offers"??That would be good customer service! Sorry but TPS for me never again!!

Is this not just techno?
@TheProducerSchool2 жыл бұрын
According to Beatport, this would be classified as Peak Time/Driving, so it’d call it a subgenre of techno :)

@@TheProducerSchool I 100% read this as 'How To Make Driving/Peak Time Tech House' that is on me man, I was like this is some weird tech house, sounds a lot like techno.

whenever i see guys applying EQs, ffs i cant hear any difference. making music for almost a decade. sounds are my life. but i just cant hear any difference. my brain perception tweaks anything to sound good automatically, so i cant listen to it objectively... yea my mixes suck XD
