1) Not realizing how the volume of a delta printer works is your fault, not a lie. 2) The speed claims are no different than every other printer of every other generation. The Max mm/s is about half what's actually the normal RECOMMENDED speed. My N4Max advertises 500. I print fine at 250. This is advertised at 1000, I print fine at 500. 3) T1 and every klipper machine DOES have exclude object. You just have to add the macro to the printer.cfg. "[exclude_object]" Literally that's it. Half the failures in this video are yours and your ignorance. Bad review, dud printer or not. PS: Havent had any of these problems with my T1. Was even able to throw on a PEI / PEO / PEY (whichever the one with the stars is) bed meant for an Ender 3 on here and print fine.

Let me guess, you “run Arch” too. See, I don’t make reviews for SMEs looking to get validation on their purchases. I advocate for the general consumer. The people who aren’t fully educated in, nor “just accept” the misleading marketing of a multi-billion dollar industry. The potential buyer who has no understanding of, or desire to edit code in a console. I don’t call my viewers stupid, instead I explain how the conical volume of the delta printer works and then demonstrate that the printer can’t even achieve maximum print heights within that volume. I demonstrate the simple math explaining the actual max possible flow rate of the machine. I don’t just shill the specs provided by a marketing team. I demonstrate the successes and failures of a product so customers can make an informed decision.

@ElevatedSystems4 ай бұрын
@@mastalock I said there’s no Skip Object. Which is a feature built into many printers and can be accessed right on the printers screen. No need to configure code in klipper/moonraker console.

I was excited about FLSUN S1 and T1. The reported specs were awesome but over time multiple reviewers of the S1 showed lots of software problems, crappy profiles, false claims on flow rate, build area, speed, problems with klipper (a BudLight version of Klipper), problems with dimensional accuracy, questionable quality of prints and more. So glad I didn't buy the S1 but I hoped the T1 would have fixed those problems but apparently not. The comparison of prints with the S1 and now the T1 versus the Bambu A1, X1C and even the P series printers shows FLSUN is just pushing out an incomplete product and users are the beta testers like what Creality had done in the past. With that said the hardware is good but the software has been problematic in the past with FLSUN unless one does a lot of tweaking. Its not like FLSUN is the new kid on the block, they have been around since 2016, thats 8 years they have had to get their collective sh|t together where it comes to software but they are still missing the boat (but it can print out a 8-10 minute benchy). Nothing wrong with tweaking but today's fdm printer companies are putting out great machines where users don't need to tweak the crap out of the machine to get it to work. With that said I'm going to wait until Bambu comes out with their larger build area printer that is rumored to come out this year (Q3 or Q4?). Appreciate the honest review but I have crossed FLSUN off my list of reliable companies. Their focus seems to be pushing out incomplete products and lie about specs. Not good.

It seems the printers are getting firmware and slicer updates. You can test these updates with your printers. These days, we are all so easily susceptible to misinformation. Don't just listen to what others say; try it for yourself
@theVariedLife5 ай бұрын
@@Richard-ql6lvFLSUn has had various and continuous software problems and firmware didn’t fix the - for example not installing a full version of Klipper and or where certain parts of it were not able to be changed. That is not misinformation. I would expect this from a new company but FLSUN has been around since 2015. You would think after all that time they would get things fixed. Or put out a product that didn’t have so many problems - they basically have customers be beta testers. Bad form for a company that’s been around since 2015. They had more than enough time to test and polish profiles, materials, klipper settings, etc. but they continue to not do this? They rushed the S1 to market and with all the problems they co time to rush the T1 to market too. Fact is I’ve seen T1 reviews that are bad as well. Don’t postpone the product and actually make it consumer ready, just push it out the door and let users do all the work. If I got a brick I would repair it, that’s not my job. If I buy a printer. I buy it to print, not for me to be a makeshift technician. Btw strange from a guy who has no content other than replying here - bot much?

As honest as some KZbinrs are, you have to take their reviews with a grain of salt. I haven’t finished experimenting with my T1 but it’s a good printer that does quality prints and fast if you want which was its selling point. Like plenty of printers you’ll get better results if you tweak the slicer settings some instead of just running it super fast for every print. I found another KZbinrs video critical yet honest and less gimmicky than this guy. Plus idk what ppl are going so hard about, it’s a $600 printer that can compete witha Bambu X1C ($1500), like what are ppl complaining so much about.

Any ideas or recommendations on fan replacements that are quieter?

I do have the printer now for a week or 6, raced a roll of 6 filament thru the machine, and I must say, The noise is bad when you print very fast. but when you print at decent speeds 400 to 600 the noise is doable when you set the correct fan speeds. The items printed look very good. I have amazing results with ABS. So yeah a keeper in this house.

Thanks for this candid review! Deltas always have cone volume and they are always advertised with the tip being the max. It's shady but not a lie. For those who are new to Deltas and might have this T1 and is worried, open your moonraker (type the IP in your browser), home the printer and set Z to about 300 and play around moving X and Y and Z until you see for yourself the XY you can achieve at that Z. My tests with the T1 shows you can Max X at 125mm and Z 285 (so you could print a cylinder 250 round and 285mm high. Above that your model will need to fit inside the shrinking cone up to 330.

I guess you didn't get to testing ABS or any other high temp plastic. There is no hotened cooling fan on this machine, everything is supposed to run via the CPAP blower. ANYONE who has built a CPAP based machine knows that CPAP inlet must take air from the enclosure. You can't shock plastic -- especially ABS and the like with external air -- ABS needs a bit (10% with CPAP is what I run) but it has to be air from the enclosure. You also need to cool the hotend or you will get heat creep. The baffling decisions from FLsun to use closed loop steppers on the S1 -- which introduces artifacts since these are the fake closed loop steppers with a magnet adhered to the end of the stepper and a rudimentary PID loop in a esp32 driver board controlling the stepper instead of validated tried and true trinamics. FLsun wanted to get these machines out -- reviews be damned. This is what happens when marketing runs the product release, max height -- engineers know trig, marketing people don't.
