Excellente vidéo ! If you are trying to go from Beginner to Intermediate, keep watching videos like these. Learning via conversations and stories will improve your French level much faster than trying to force memorisation of grammar rules. Something my students find useful is simply turning on the English subtitles in these videos and using them to understand the French. Hope this is helpful, Rory :)

I love this. I would say Bart is using “oh, man” as an exclamation, not directing it to his father so I don’t see how it’s inappropriate to use in this situation.
