It just invites you to touch it and play with it, doesn't it?

@@annekenlon you inspired me to try it! I found some vintage seam binding in two shades of pink, and added it to a tub of paper that I am tea dying. I am now letting it dry. Thanks again!

I really enjoy your videos, you are always doing something fun and interesting. The rayon seam binding will dye/crinkle. The newer polyester seam binding is difficult to dye and won't wrinkle/hold a crease.

Thanks, Susan! Yes, I finally put two and two together on that - rayon it is! Thanks for watching!

What a fun video! I have been picking up these vintage packages at thrift stores but didn't know how to convert them to crinkle ribbon, never thought about it, just threw them into my stash and figured I would look into it some day. Well, that day has arrived with your tutorial, thank you so much. I am sure I picked up bias tape too, but I am learning here that it won't crinkle. What would be a good way to use bias tape? Enjoying your channel!

I've learned that it's the polyester fiber that doesn't crinkle so much - rayon is always reliable! As for bias tape, I'd use that for a decorative edge on a pocket or a journal page - would be great to machine-stitch on top of it, too. I may have to dig up some of my own and do a video on it - thanks for the idea! In the meantime, dig out those rubber bands and have fun crinkling!

Oh, my heavens, he has learned to ALWAYS ask before he throws things away - he just never knows what I'm going to use!
