Flugzeugabsturz Flugplatzfest Backnang-Heiningen Boeing PT-17 Stearman Crash

Flugplatzfest in Backnang-Heiningen am Samstag, 10.September 2011.
Erster Programmpunkt des Tages war eine Vorführung einer Boeing Stearman, die leider nicht so verlief wie geplant. Zum Glück wurde der Pilot dabei nur leicht verletzt. Das Flugplatzfest wurde nach einer Unterbrechung fortgesetzt. Ich wünsche dem Piloten eine schnelle Genesung und die Besten Wünsche für die Zukunft.

First program of the day was a demonstrationflight of a Boeing Stearman, which unfortunately did not go as planned. Luckily the Pilot was injured only slightly. The Programm continued after an interruption. I wish the pilot a quick recovery and best wishes for the future.

Dieses Flugzeug ist auch bekannt durch die WingWalkerin Peggy Krainz, die mit genau diesem Flugzeug viele Vorführungen machte.

Sonntag, 09. September 2012, fast genau auf den Tag ein Jahr später kam es leider erneut zu einem tragischen Unfall. Eine Rundflugmaschine vom Typ Robin DR 400 (D-EEOP) stürzte kurz nach dem Start ab, der Pilot und ein Rundfluggast kamen dabei ums Leben, zwei weitere Passagiere wurden schwer verletzt.

He or she must be a fairly low-time pilot as they had an entire field in front of them. All they had to do was push the nose over and keep it from stalling like it did and chances are they would have minor repairs on that baby.

Right. All you have to do to prevent a crash that is caused by stalling is to keep the engine from stalling. Genius. You solved the riddle.

@@leifvejby8023 Oh boy... Wings make a plane fly if there is enough airflow over the wings. Especially when starting a plane is generally really, really slow. Resulting in little lift. A Prop wing, especially biplanes at that point generate a significant percentage of their lift from the airflow caused by the propeller, because at such low speeds the propeller moves lots of air over the wings, while at higher speeds the prop moves the plane thru the air. If in this situation your engine stalls, you will lose a significant amount of lift instantly, result in the plane losing altitude rapidly, no matter what you do. If you are lucky you are high enough to push down the nose and generate enough speed from gliding to keep the plane afloat. If you try to fly cool maneuvers upon takeoff, you drop like a sack of potatoes, as demonstrated here.

he was a bad pilot he can land safe even without engine turning but he ancleaned a big angel by the right therefor the plane stallen fast
