Lovely painting, Amy. Thank you. A couple of questions: Where do you sign your paintings? And what medium do you use? When you seal with resin, everything is shiny. Does the resin fight the metallics so that you don't notice the sheen in the metallics? Thank you.

This is so beautiful and I love it so much that I wanted to try it. I watched your “mixing” video as well to ensure I had a good consistency between my colors and base coat. I tried to “copy” your order of colors and the method you used and mine looked NOTHING like yours but I was still quite pleased with how it turned out! I took a picture and carefully moved it to the room I have dried my other pours in. It’s been around 40 hours since I finished it and it is completely cracked! Not only that, but the saturation of color has changed entirely. I’m so disappointed and I’m not exactly sure what went wrong. I’m thinking it probably has something to do with it not being completely level while drying but this was also my first time using Flood Floetrol so I don’t know if that is a factor too? I don’t think it’s about the drying process because the consistency was pretty even in the different colors and the base white. I did another one this morning and noticed “cracks” (more like the paint separating or splitting) within 30 minutes of pouring. That’s what prompted me to check the other one and the picture I took on Tuesday. I saw in the picture that it had already started separating but I hadn’t noticed it at the time. Do you have any tips or suggestions/advice?

Yes!! Great questions!! I am hearing all of these questions and working on more videos (I'm new to recording so I'm slow lol). I do have an Amazon Recommendations list that has everything you need to get started. Are you asking about resin only? Or from the beginning (painting) to the end (resin)? For the hairdryer, I use cool on the larger one and the smaller one only has one setting (it's not hot or cold - very neutral).

I have a query about the hairdryer. I bought it from Amazon but it only blows hot air. Is that what yours does? If so, how does the paint not dry out as you’re blowing, cos mine does! I’m in the UK so I’m wondering if my hairdryer is different. It looks the same! 🤷♀️ Thank you for your help. I’d love to make a bloom like yours, it’s beautiful! 💕💕
@Rainbowsandswirls475 ай бұрын
Hi Marian, I'm also in uk and just bought the blue hair dryer, there is no cool setting. I think the dryer has to be moved fairly quickly and not kept on 1 area for more than 3 seconds. Some of my paints were thicker and dried too quickly before I got the shape I wanted. Up to now failed but will try again with thinner paint, videos I've seen doing Dutch pour, their paints look very fluid when the dryer is used and have more time to work the petals. 😊
