All of it just awesome stuff! Their undercoating is the best, just look up some of the videos on it and you'll agree. How do I know? I lived in the heart of the rust belt (Southeast Michigan) for 34 years.

I wonder if it works as good as POR 15....
@thomshere3 жыл бұрын
@@mercedesbenzs600bash POR is a coating that bonds with the metal and is great stuff on frames and I highly recommend it but it is way different chemicals. The Fluid Film leaves a waxy type film that is great inside of doors and inside places that you could not do with that black standard rustproofing. I think it works just about anywhere water touches. For under the car or truck you might have to reapply every year or so depending on how much you use them but I'ts cheap and does the trick.

Going to ask the question... you spray this on the bottom of the vehicle. It doesn't dry or crack... one continues to drive on a normal road, would debris and dust/dirt not eventually make it a horrible mess under the vehicle? I get annoyed when the engine bay get dirty I can only imagine spraying oil under the car what would be attracted to it. I almost feel like this would be a red flag during inspection as they are picky with a lot of things and having the entire under body of the vehicle look like oil has been leaked everywhere almost seems like they would fail me.
@style5tie7 жыл бұрын
It WILL collect dust and dirt over time. Actually, a lot of folks recommend driving the vehicle on some gravel roads to get a nice coating of dust on the Fluid Film. This is part of what helps it stay on through the winter. It's up to you if that's something you can/want to deal with. Me personally, I'd rather deal with a dirty frame than a rusty frame.
@8luggarage6 жыл бұрын
I do like fluid film but it washed off way to easy while driving in the rain. I did the underside of my car and a few days latter drove about 100 miles in the rain. The fluid film is completely gone as if I never used it. $40 down the drain

Undercoat protection with stuff that doesn't cure but reamains fluid is total nonsense. First rainy ride and it's gone.
@confidentlocal86003 жыл бұрын
Not really. As dirt sticks to it, it becomes a thick goo that is pretty hard to remove, short of using a pressure washer. Wool Wax is similar to this stuff but higher viscosity and apparently resists wash-off a bit better, but doesn't creep into the nooks and crannies as readily. With either product, you do need to periodically reapply.
