Hey let me say this scooter seems to be a copy or should I say a new beginning of the original etwow electric scooter I bought in 2019 and I must say that I'm not surprised about seeing this scooter back on the Frontline only this time stronger in terms of speed and range and weight.. Even to the design and style of this scooter is a blast and putting fluidfreeride name on this newer model is shocking and greatly appreciating.. Let me be the first to say.. this guy julian is not over exaggerating in anyway.. i had the etwow which I believe was the European model of the uscooter here in the USA.. i truly am not surprised i was so impressed by the performance of my etwow back in 2019 that I can still feel the confidence and effects of this scooter strongly to this day let me explain this scooter that fluidfreeride is introducing will certainly leave an everlasting impression on you no matter what scooter you buy before or after.. I guarantee you.. I'll even make a wager on this and I don't gamble I currently own 7 scooters.. The etwow being my first ever electric scooter in 2019 to Mercane widewheel scooters and up to Dualtrons... im trying to slowdown buying so many scooters but I'm sure afraid I may have to get the fluidfreeride Mosquito too haha.. i look forward to booking another trip to Miami again.. Fluidfreeride even fixed a flat tire on my Dualtron Thunder a flat that I caught while I was visiting Miami thanks to me already being a customer owning 2 scooters from fluidfreeride they looked out for me giving me half off on the price for the repair because again I had already been a customer of theirs in the past an also Fluidfreeride are not distributors of Dualtrons so I was very very lucky.. Fluidfreeride called me the next morning and told me my scooter was ready for pickup they are the best i left my hotel in Coral Gables Miami and rushed to fluidfreeride to pick up my scooter... Esg can't wait to see your as usual honest reviews this time on this electric scooter scooter the Fluid Mosquito. .. So glad Fluid teamed up with ETwow -I bought a few of these from UScooter for myself and friends (as the ETwow GT )and still love it despite also owning a more powerful Vsett - would love Fluid Freeride to work with ETwow to create a dual motor version of this one w/ a hard tail for more foot positions - when you hit hills or windresistance its a heavy drag on the single motor -a dual motor would only add 10 lbs and it would still be ultra portable - but would have the power to push up hills and through wind = food for thought

I'm a owner of one of these, concerning about braking and durability of the wheels under the circumstances how powerful it is and able to reach speeds close to 30 miles top speed. If you have to brake suddenly the brakes worked out well, pretty well!!!!! But material of the wheels are no suitable for emergency braking skid is crazy, so rear wheel end it completely square. Those tiny tires are my only reservation. I commute into Manhattan from Queens, ~5 miles each way. I don’t have smooth asphalt, and some sections I ride in are chewed up and potholed. While I avoid larger holes with pneumatic 10” tires, I am concerned how these will handle “swiss cheese surfaces”. The larger tires can cause fatigue in my arms, but no loss of control or effect on my steering on chewed up sections. How would this fare on realistically crappy NYC streets?
@AquaDogTTR2 жыл бұрын
I commute on it in Manhattan, it can be done but you have to drive pretty defensively and really watch where you're going for potholes and other bad road conditions. A good way I also do a lot is also to jump the front wheel up a curb or over a pothole, etc. To avoid the wheel getting caught/stuck on a big bump. It can be done you just have to pay attention.

I was so close to buying a Horizon when I saw this announcement, and I think this one better meets my needs for portability. My main question is what is the weight limit for the rider? How long do the solid tires last? And how easy is it to change them if they wear down? This really looks great, but if I'm too heavy for it I'll still end up getting a Horizon.
@fluidfreeride2 жыл бұрын
265 lbs is the weight limit. our colleague is 240 and likes how it handles. Also see Tim's comment. Just note that your range will suffer and you may need to help a little on steeper hills. The Horizon has a similar power output but the 13Ah has 30% more battery capacity. Re tires, we have not run a 2000 mile test :) Our best guess was hat they will last at least 2000 miles based on experience from the Horizon solid rear tire. Asked an long term ETWOW rider and he had not to replace his with 3000 miles on the clock. After 3000+ miles we would recommend to replace the entire rear wheel including drum brake assembly and swap out the front tire sitting on top of the motor. Total around $100 with your lifetime service discount.
@JamieMakin2 жыл бұрын
@@fluidfreeride thanks for the reply, and that all sounds like it'll work for me! 3000 miles will get you across the whole country, so tire wear is something I won't have to worry about any time soon. And the repair cost is very reasonable if I get that much use out of it. Glad to hear the weight limit works for me, because that's not the case with a lot of lightweight scooters. My main interest is portability for both transporting in the cab of my truck (security and weather protection) and also taking on train trips. Even though the range is a little less than the Horizon, it'll still be enough for what I'd be using it for. Looking forward to the orders opening up for it!

Interesting scooter ...very similar to the UScooter GT SE, looks like a color change and slighting higher top speed. The extra warranty and price is very competitive. Since riding both the GT SE and V Booster my Uscooter I've been impressed with this style of scooter. I'm a very big rider and both models have been amazing...no issues...I don't think you'll have any issues with warranty claims...if this big guy can put heavy mileage on it and it still runs without an issue it's sure to run for everyone else :) I think the only thing I've had to do is lube up the rear suspension...what else has been changed/improved upon from the original GT?
@fluidfreeride2 жыл бұрын
on our old sample GT the suspension creaks after some time - you are right. this has been improved with some added rubber. we still recommend occasional greasing as called out in the manual. other improvements: sinewave controllers for smoother throttle response and faster speed, new cable organization for a tighter appearance, electric horn instead of beep, display programming to allow for cruise control and zero start, tuned down e-braking for a smoother and safer brake experience, sleeker all black design, eliminating the beep on any button press :)
