Altus have just launched their new model line-up for 2024. Every model has had a refresh, with a new headjoint design, updated scale and changes to the padding and key cup design.

I love my 807. Didn't know they were updating the line but still love my 807. Best flute I've ever played. Love that open G# as well.

I play open g sharp altus 807 as well. I am guessing that the 807 has been dropped as it's not in the new line up. I could be wrong.

I bought the 807, and then bought a separate solid-silver headjoint. I play both headjoints, depending on my mood.

@@willistaylor4077 Was it an Arista? I bought a Juan Arista Tally headjoint to match my 807. The S cut always keeps my embouchure in line and disciplined, and can do what the Arista can, but sometimes I need just a little more, and the Tally comes in.

@@pauljohnson4948 ​ Whoa we're rare! Yep, the 807 is no longer. Our open G# 807s are officially collector's items. Never thought I'd encounter another open G# player on an 807!
