I cannot say for certain, but I'm almost sure a type of palytoxin was released in my tank. It can be harmful to humans yes...but as soon as I caught on, I removed the coral and threw it outside.

I love my Fluval Evo but I feel the light bleached my corals. I changed to a smart light from Fluval and my corals have more color.

So I'm seeing that with my Monti... But it was in the tank over a year and was thriving, so I'm not sure what's up with that.

I don’t have a reef tank, and haven’t kept fish for many, many years. These days I just watch reef tank videos on KZbin. But when I did have a tank, in one house I had a tank on a tall kitchen counter top/divider. It was directly above the sink, and I changed the water easily and often as it was so easy, and in your face every morning. It was a perfect location. Unfortunately home layouts do not often allow for that, and suddenly it is a chore.

I want a small tank, probably the waterbox peninsula mini 25 coz it bigish but still only 90ltrs so easy to do water changes etc 🥰🐶

My EVO is my favorite tank. Big enough to keep stable but small enough to make water changes EASY.

what did you put in the filter chamber instead of biological filtration if you are using live rock instead?

Are you dosing anything for alkalinity? 6 weeks no water change is a big alk swing and sps get stressed out easily from it.

Ihave one question i have my tank since 2016 I had fish but they are died I haven't cleaned it since 2016 now when i look my tank i have some weird white thinks in my sand i clean only my glass inside and outside and through away my plastic plants only can you explain me what is the white stuff please on my sand because i think I touched accidently

White stuff on the sand.... Can your be a little more descriptive? Is it slime? Does it look like algae? Is it a hard calcium like structure?
