I finally added a clean up crew and the hermit crabs have destroyed the brown diatom algae.

Me too is it anything to be scared of started growing incredibly fast noticably after like an hour started producing air bubbles cuz of my lights causing photosynthesis

That is such interesting behavior from the snails, I didn't know they buried and popped up so quick like that. Love the clownfish and hermit crabs too!

The snails move quite rapidly tbh, I was shocked when i first them emerge like the undead lol.

Just started my evo13.5 2 weeks ago. Have 2 clowns and a cleaner shrimp. Later I plan to add either a watchman goby with pistol shrimp or tail spot blenny. Im about to add my cleanup crew as my brown algae just bloomed. I enjoyed your vids and look forward to more on your nanoreef. I recommend you add a shrimp and maybe some easy soft corals. Blennies and gobys are good for nanoreefs.I like the dragonets but they are hard to keep I hear. Emerald crab?

I tried keeping a blue dragonet in my evo. I made sure I had a large population of pods but she still died in about a month. Not sure why she died. I saw in the morning she was fine then slept for a few hours. Looked in the tank and she was dead. I have keep a pink scoter dragonet in my 200l tank and he has thrived in that tank and is very plump now. Plus he has tones of personality, also very enjoyable to watch, especially when he gets territorial with his reflection.
