Hi Simply Shrimp, i wasnt sure which video to post a question about your thoughts on shrimp filters...but what would you recommend filter wise, for my Giant African Shrimp now he's a beast (see my one and only vid!lol) ....currently running a Fluval U3 as it has downward facing flow but my other tanks have a aponge and small Aqua One filter for fish and circulation x thanks for your help.x

Sounds good to me. The prefer a bit of flow so they can filter feed in it. They can also be pretty shy so don’t be sad if you don’t see the shrimp for a few days :)

@@SimplyShrimps Thank you very much, my shrimp is out all the time which i thought unusual but he seems to like my company plus he knows feeding time. Ive noticed he fans alot from the sand too.x In your experience with Giant African shrimp, do you often see them grow to this size at all?thanks again.x

No problem. What size? I’ve seen some quite big and they are suppose to get to around 15cm! :o

So sorry i thought id put his size on my video description....so he's 19cm at his last molt...his aquarium is 160 litres...and hes very chunky too.x

Wow what a TANK! The biggest I’ve seen 😱 love the cat too 😁 to be honest if he’s got that big in your care then you must be doing something right.
