I like the embellishments on the rim of the outsole, laces, and heel, gives it some aesthetic fullness, rather than the plain jane of other brand models. Thanks for showing them.

Thank you for the review, I was curious about them. Look like the toe box is a bit narrow for me, 25.5cm x 10.3cm.

Well.. maybe, maybe not. My feet are 27x11cm and they fit me great. It looks like you would be a men's size 8 or 8.5 (Women's 9.5/10 but men's shoes often have a little extra width, so you might try the men's size). The width is good to begin with, plus the upper material is very stretchy and can accommodate even more width than you might think. If you like the shoes, I would say give them a try. They're NICE.

So I've been wearing Vivobarefoot shoes for about 1 1/2 years now. I think if Flux Adapt Trainers were my 1st barefoot shoe, it would have worked out better. However my toes have splayed and in 18 months and the trainers in my size (9) it feels tight at the toes. How do the Runners fit compared to the trainers?

If you're too wide for the Flux Trainers, I'm surprised you're still wearing Vivos, since they are at the narrower end of the barefoot shoe spectrum, for the most part (although their models do vary some). My Feet are 27cm x 11cm, and both my Adapt Runners and Adapt Trainers fit me fine. On the Trainers, however, I did completely loosen up the laces really far for them to be comfortable. The Runners are a flexy, stretchy knit that fits kind of like a sock. I've taken the laces off of them and they fit fine without them; but I put them back on because they looked odd without laces. The fit of the two models is kind of similar in terms of shape; but the flexible/stretchy uppers on the Runners makes a them a little more accommodating of width, I would say.

How breathable are these? My feet tend to run hot.

More breathable than most shoes. My feet run hot too, so I can't think of ANY pair of shoes that matches my feet's desire for air, which is probably why I wear sandals over half the year LOL. If you wanted to know the absolute *MOST* breathable shoes I know of, I'd have to think about it... but yeah, again, these are more breathable than most.
