Flux can be number of types, What we commonly used in welding whose I mention those in my lecture. Flux mostly used in welding application because it prevent weld from oxidation. Even Inert gas also work as Flux in Welding application.

Sir im the manufacturer of metal pretreatment chemical. i got the job from my clint he do copper silver brazing. After brazzing all component get black because of heating brazing process. I want to knw to remove black carbons from flux. The chemical which i have its clean the copper and silver bu problem arise in flux. So please suggest me how to clean back carbon from the flux.

I can't say anything but u can need to save brazing from direct oxygen contact..

Sir in copper silver brazing they use borex as a flux. After heating they got black bcoz which chemical use to clean that borex flux
