That was a lot of fun, looking forward to the next one. Also great work on the the little Javascript app that randomised the modules, that was fantastic.

Loved that!! Got to know the AE Modular through BoBeats and then your videos, and it has been a fantastic six months since I received my system. I seem to have gradually forgotten that I have other gear too, and the community is ofcourse really wonderful, I felt really welcomed in this nice world :)

Funny! haha the Mult inputs are what? and the mult output are buffered?
@tuesdaynightmachines3 жыл бұрын
Haha! I don’t know ... but the outputs are definitely buffered 👍
@tangiblewaves35813 жыл бұрын
The MULT sections you find on many AE modules are passive mults without any connection to the module carrying it.
@tuesdaynightmachines3 жыл бұрын
Ah, sorry, wasn't sure if you were joking about our buffered multiple explanation. As tangible waves said, the regular mults are not buffered, but on the buffered multiple module they are, to avoid a voltage drop when copying signals, which might throw your tuning off :)

@@tuesdaynightmachines it's alright, I wouldn't have manage to make a joke if I wanted, happy little accidents hahaha

Great, i've been thinking about these AE modules a lot, they seem like a good starting point for a newbie! Would You say they're suitable for someone more interested in the experimental side of modular synthesis?
@tuesdaynightmachines3 жыл бұрын
Definitely! It's a proper modular synth format with lots of modules that can be patched weirdly for experimental music too. Modules like the DRONE38 and ALGODRONE are even especially made for non-traditional music for example. Also check out the performance section of the forums to get an overview of what people are doing with their AE Modulars: forum.aemodular.com/board/5/ae-music-performances

You can definitely go on the experimental side. There a lot of talented people on the forum who post experimental stuff, drone and a whole lot of different kind of music/sound. Especially if you are a beginner in modular world, the AEM format is, to me, the best option.
