Glad I found your channel you make everything look so easy. You’re an inspiration to me. I’m retired and I just started learning to fly fish. Thank you!

Loved this! Awesome fishing and the sound of the flowing water especially. We’re having a severe drought in central Texas. My favorite local rivers and creeks have stopped flowing and are going underground in many areas. The beautiful riffles where I caught nice Guadalupe bass are now dry gravel bars. Thank you for reminding me how nice it was,and will be again someday. Praying for rain. Have a great one Jim! God bless

Fortunately here in Pa the droughts don't happen often, in fact we are having an exceptionally good year for the trout. Not many hot days, just two or three in a row and then rain and cool days and cooler night keep the water in great shape.

Hello Jim, nice to see you out on the river again. I just got back from up there and I can't believe how many holdover rainbows are up there. I also caught five nice brook trout and a handful of small wild brown. I fished a dry/dropper with the dry being a yellow chubby chernobyl in yellow and had quite a few eats on that as well as the dropper nymph.

Hey Jiim, Glad to see you out on the river! Make sure to show us more videos of you Flyfishing and also, reference the fly tying videos for the flies that you’re using. Enjoyed seeing your Castellane on the water buddy :)

Will do, It is hard to make really good videos when you are alone on the river. When I'm with my friend Chris (Reel Life) it is easier he is a great videographer.

Another great video Jim. As much as I enjoy your fly tying sessions, I love watching you work your magic on streams. Thanks for posting!

I enjoy watching your videos, but today made quite difficult because of a Verizon add. I couldn't close the ad to watch your video. Plus it was suppose to be ad and it never played. Couldn't play it to close it, not could I just escape it either. What I was able to see looked like a nice place to fish. I decided to watch it again and second time around was ad free.

Sorry about that, that was youtube. But the little money I get from the adds is one of the reasons I make the videos. Although not the first reason. I love teaching the sport, and that is the number 1 reason I do it.

Jim, where do you find waterfalls like that? It reminds me of Sterucka (spelling?) where I believe I caught my first trout. Dad said to net it, so I lifted up out of the water and stuck the net under it. Hahaha I was 9.

What color gas are you using,peacock or olive
@TheFlymanJim2 жыл бұрын
Olive is what I use most. Peacock is a good color for bodies if your going to add feathers or fur, but the olive is the original color I tied them in. All the colors are good for one use or another. I also use them to make Krystal Dubbing. Mixing it with rabbit is the most common wat I mix it.
