love wading creeks.Feels more one on one with nature rather than in a boat or man made lake.Creeks and untammed rivers bring you peace.THANKS for sharing TAGF.

We call those Pumpkinseeds in Wyoming.

I think these are definitely longear sunfish. Pumpkinseeds (what we call them) are much much larger here in Missouri! Will try and film some of those soon too! Thanks for watching

This is awesome! That strain of longears (red stripe on head) continues to be found in Fayetteville too. I caught my first longears just last year and I’ve been meaning to go there to fish for them again. Wish the Midwest had those. Keep it up with the videos. I’m subbing just for more longear videos. Thanks!

I hear you about the mind boggling of where to go and what tackle to bring the breakfast is the easiest part, Beautiful fish, the closest fish to that in Rhode Island is the Pumpkin Seed fish

That first lay down you came too. I lost a MONSTER bass today on the current side of the root wad. 😭

Where I caught the bass in the video?
@ozarkadventurer59304 жыл бұрын
@@ThatsAGoodFish yessir. They like to sit under that root wad facing up stream and ambush anything that gets swept by in the fast current. I'm guessing it was at least 16"

Fished it hard that day cuz you’re right it’s a great ambush spot. But didn’t get anything they were sitting in slack water behind root wad
