Fly Fishing for BIG BROWN Trout on a LEGENDARY Trout Stream | Green River-Part 2

We take a FLY FISHING TRIP to the GREEN RIVER in Utah. This has been on our BUCKET LIST for a long time! We spend 3 days wading and floating in a drift boat down this AMAZING RIVER surrounded by STUNNING VIEWS! The fishery lives up to the hype as we throw DRY FLIES for BIG BROWN TROUT in SUPER CLEAR WATER.
We spend the first 2 days floating with Spinner Fall Guide Service on Section A and B below Flaming Gorge Dam. On the 3rd day, we DIY and are hiking and wading.
This tailwater is a world class fishery located near Dutch John, Utah below Flaming Gorge Dam.

As a former guide on this river, this is one of my favorite floats, weather i'm working or on a day off, your lunch spot is known as Jackson Creek camp , these are some of the most beautiful float in camp sites you can find on on a river with fish populations like the green. Guides look forward to float/day like this, single angler on B/C or any float is always nice.

@OutdoorHighlife When I first got to Dutch John, I worked for Spinner Fall, which was under different ownership ( 90s) Scott the owner of SF now, was one of my first roommates. I worked for Trout Creek for 7 years & my last summer there spent 80 % of my time on B/C. If you get the chance to get back, do a camp trip with a swamper/ cook, food is great and ready when you get into camp breakfast is ready when you get up, we did alot of over nights. Lots of good guides/ people there

@@OutdoorHighlife when you get some years under your belt like me you can add destinations to your “repeat bucket list”. The Green is one of those for me. I’m coming back this season after 25 years. This time my fishing buddy and I are bringing our adult sons…
