This video is from a rare full day fishing session in late August 2023. Unfortunately, probably in my excitement to get fishing, I muted the audio on my chest camera by accident but I still made a short video anyway using a background soundtrack. Realise that's not to everyone's tastes, but it is what it is.
It was a great days fishing, not easy as it was a day of two halves. The sea trout and finnock were more active through the morning and it got tougher as the day moved on into the afternoon, often becoming becalmed on a mirror like loch. I lost quite a few fish that morning and kept plugging away and ringing the changes to get some action, the brown trout were thankfully also in a taking mood.

Thanks Mike, for less than 5 mins video it seemed to take me bloomin’ ages 😂 i enjoyed making it though. I’m sure you’ll have a good day fingers crossed when you are back over. I think I’ve done 3 videos off there, hope to get back on for a day or two aug-sept. All the best 👍

Great clips there Matt, I suspect several of those fish were taken on a Blue Zulu, one of my favourites for sea trout! looking forward to your posts next summer! 👍

Yeah I post the patterns in the notes, a red tail seems to work very well on there, I didn’t have any blue zulus in the box which i know is criminal, but that would work great. There was once tales that a guy that fished the Storr Lochs always used 3 blue zulus 😄 thanks for the comment mate, i switched off audio by accident , so i was waffling on all day to nobody which wasn’t my intention, hence the music background.
