the care you take while dealing with the fish caught is very educationnal and on point. We need more of this.

Dan, My husband and I have absolutely enjoyed your photoventures! Fly fishing has long been thought of as a sport for generations past. This episode in particular hits us because you present a new generation of fly fishing. This couple depicts a youthful take on the sport. The filming, narration, and yes even the music hints at a Warren Miller vibe. Plain and simple we have connected and are taken with the series. Thank you for sharing your passion and knowledge. -Brenda

great fish handling pointers, wish you had mentioned fishing barbless hooks though, im sure you seen a lot of those fish have mouths that have been wrecked by barbed hooks ..

Even out in Alaska can't find a section of the river where it's just the people you're with. looks like people all over the bank. The filming by the way is gorgeous nice work guys!

Yeah, when the salmon are in it’s crazy there. We filmed after all the salmon were gone. Thank you for the kind words!

Awesome video! Loved it! Can you tell me where the launch is at 11:25? I know the river pretty well but I have NO clue. it's hurting my brain!!!

Hey Vance, I think that's the extra parking to the side of Sportsman's landing/launch?

Sick Stuff Guys! Where are you fishing next?
@danredfield5 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Not sure, that was the only fishing episode. The other episodes are all different but centered around adventure photography. Last episode I took a bush plane to a floating ice cave, next one is nighttime kayaking! 🍻

It`s a beautiful video and well narrated.I`ve been there. And like was said in the video, it`s a quiet and peaceful place. That`s why the choice of the annoying music in the back- round ruins the video. Get rid of the annoying music in the video and its a perfect video that catches the mood of Kenai.
@danredfield5 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the feedback! Just curious is there a certain song or all the songs you don't like?
@mickey83555 жыл бұрын
@@danredfield A very small portion of the video is accompanied by instrumental music that fits well with the video. The rest of it accompanied by music that`s very distracting and bothersome to my ear while taking in the natural beauty of this video. I know it`s only my opinion. I was ready to turn the sound down and just watch the video, but it was so well narrated that I chose to tolerate the music that didn`t fit well with the visual mood.

Caught my first aj on a charterboat jigging. They were onky maybe 3 to 5 pounds and they kicked my butt. Caught my biggest on another charter with 30 mono and 50 leader. That fish was only 25 to 30 pounds. Im not trying to hook anythinf much bigger than that. This was a week ago and my hand and shoulders still hurt😂😂😂

The problem with American anglers is that they always think they are in an Orvis add. You're always doing talking and acting too much. It's fly fishing ffs. Not a WWE. Check out Rolf Nylinder's work, or Trouts in troubles, Carpe Diem. These are depicting pretty well fly fishing. You're doing waaaay too much... that it's like watching a parody movie. The filming/editing is world class though
@danredfield5 жыл бұрын
I'll have to check those out, thank you!

OR, because this was such a great video, you could continue to do it the way you want to do it and not listen to this guy with his pretentious stereotypes and his terrible understanding of English grammar.

Fly fishing is art but I use bobbers, split shots and beads. Lol your not fly fishing.

I’m with you there! I do miss live bait fishing for pike or musky. Love watching the bobber swim around and THUNK!
