I love Sheridan lake, I used to make the trip every year, from my home in Seattle Wa, its such a great lake and area to fish. But 3 years ago I had a bad experience at the border that I found very disrespectful and time consuming. It was such a bad experience that I’ve decided NEVER to return to Canada EVER ! , I’m done ! I will miss my yearly trips to this magical place where I’ve had so many good fishing expeditions.

Great video. Going to Sheridan later this year. Crossing my fingers for some bigger fish. Want type of fish finder are you using there. My Garmin just died, and I have noticed that you use that style of finder quite abit on different videos. Any recommendations, dont want to break the bank, my fish to equipment ratio is very off kilter. LOL

We use Humminbird Fishin Buddy fish finders but these are now discounted. My favorite now is a Humminbird Piranha Fish Finder.

Super video. What make and size of "bobber" strike indicator are you using?
@SFOTF3 жыл бұрын
Small and medium ‘Quick Release’ Indicators. Many different options online 😊👍

Great video! This show works because you guys truly love fishing--and it shows. What is your setup when you guys fish the Tequila? I know you're on a fast-sink line, but what about your leader and tippet?
@SFOTF3 жыл бұрын
Thx Bryan. To fish Tequila we use Type 7 super fast sink lines with 4 to 5 ft of straight Fluorocarbon 10 - 12lb line to the fly from the fly line. You want that fly on or near the bottom in front of the fish, so long leaders don’t work.

I just bought a place on Sheridan lake last year. Trying to figure out lake fishing. Can you buy those tequila Booby? Or is it something you have to make? Any info would be greatly appreciated thanks. Oh Using Fishinator wooden plugs in the summer time work fantastic. But did not work at all in October I will be going backup in November trying again. Thanks again...

Bulldog 😂, maybe you're crappy fisherman 🤣😎. I fish from float tube in clear water. I hate calm and sunny, the fish just won't bite, they can see me. I'll take 20mph gusting to 30mph over a calm sunny day. I catch big fish on windy overcast days in late fall. Water temps are down to 40F now, my feet go numb. Might try electric socks.

What time of year is this?
@SFOTF3 жыл бұрын
Mid September during some exceptional warm weather (24C) during the day. Usually much cooler and actually better fishing when colder at that time of year.
