You wanted another collaboration video with @Rhys Fishes and here it is! I cannot begin to tell you how much fun we had making this video. I put a poll up on the community page and this was by far the most popular choice. My first visit to Llyn Clywedog and with a box of unfamiliar flies.
We both tied up ten flies each and swapped boxes. Make sure to catch part two of the video over on Rhys's channel. There was a great surprise for me in the afternoon and if the day could not have gotten any better it did!

Enjoyed both the videos Lindsay, i was looking forward to them. The challenge was a good one but how about the next one for you or Rhys (or both?). Flies from yesteryear - dog nobblers, baby dolls, ace of spades, appetisers etc etc. Do they still work at all or as well??? Cheers

Hi Lindsay, Mick from Australia again. You guys are bloody great fair dinkum! I learn so much from you two. Still wanting to know the booby flies I bought from England, when fishing them with a floating line , I have noticed they sink after a while mate. Am I meant to be putting floatation on them?. Haven't caught anything as yet, however may have had a boil on the tequila booby , however I did have a dropper so not sure

Thanks Michael, Boobies will sink eventually once saturated just get them in and squeeze the water out the eyes. Let them dry and they should be fine.

I can be see why this water was so high on your bucket list. The quality of environment and fish first rate. That last fish would not have been out of place from Rutland or Chew. In respect to water levels if Bewl was that low target species would have to be mud skipper and African lungfish

Very true! I have seen Bewl really low but it is no longer the fishery it once was.
