I take that as a huge compliment. I love Dead Drift Outdoors. It was the first fishing channel that I started watching. I definitely modeled a lot of my videos from him. I do write and record my own music, so that makes things a little different. I'm also A LOT less polished than him so I try to keep things lighthearted and show off my mistakes. Anyway, I'm excited you enjoy the channel. I hope to post again soon.

You are right. My first mistake was handling it in such shallow water. I should have kept the net in deeper water. I was definitely not expecting a fish that big and got really excited and handed him a little too long. I learned and will do better next time.

I said I’m not paying $150 for a longer handled fishpond net then I started fly fishing and losing them trying to net them lol. Bad backs and 9’ rods don’t mix

I did not. I usually do, but these were cold spring fed streams that I'm told stay cold all year round. You could tell it was cold just from the touch. I'm staying away from my other streams until the temps come back down.
