Great approach. many think they need to wade out into a river, when the big ones are often feeding next to the near shore and a 20 ' cast is sufficient. Often you need to crawl across to keep your shadow or profile from the water surface. The big ones spook first, that is why they live to be big! Iguana

Been several years, but dries were 16 parachute adams and the nymphs ended up having to be small Zebra midges
