Awesome video as always guys! Never ceases to amaze me how well you can pick apart small water like that, I wish that my western Oregon streams grew trout like that 😅
@jensenflyfishing Жыл бұрын
Thanks and glad you enjoyed it. We Do love picking water apart for sure - especially when there exists a few interesting fish 🐳🐋🐬 It's interesting that while there are waters like this everywhere the other reality of the coastal push of water can wreak havoc on the populations and sizes of resident fish. There again we are kind of lacking that 10 to 20lb salmon and steelhead option out east here 😆

Your nature photography is incredible…as both an angler & a hobbyist meteorologist loved the timelapses of the showers rolling in. Y’all should try storm chasing 😂 (but seriously)
@jensenflyfishing Жыл бұрын
Oh storm chasing... would be amazing. Between birds, clouds, fish and mountain bikes there's plenty of opportunity to obsess and fuddle with detail and conditions! 🤣😊🍻 glad you enjoyed this one, we loved its filming 😊

Excellent video. What was the large bird landing on the fence post? And are you using new backpacks? What brand are they?
@jensenflyfishing Жыл бұрын
This was from a bit back and those are mindshift 180 packs. We try a lot of different packs and each has its advantages for sure, this one so friendly on the camera gear 😊 That was an osprey landing on that post with a little rainbow soon to get a bite or two 🐊

How do you guys choose what streamer color to use? Great video!

What rod/line set up do you like for this close quarters streamer fishing?
@jensenflyfishing Жыл бұрын
5wt, DT, 15' leader. There's a full course attached to this week's video that breaks down our setup, the Dave's Fly Box Series "Small Stream Streamers & Buggers" as well as a third part on small stream streamer fishing considerations. This video is but 1/3 of the total production that is available at www.patreon.com/jensenflyfishing Hope that helps! Dave & Amelia
