Just so beautiful when fishing on a small/mid stream like this with ferns and raucous bird life; beautiful part of the world

Great video always wonderful to see your work. It's also nice to know sometimes professionals have bad knots!

Very nice. Nice to see the river in reasonable shape. Last time I was there, it was a trickle.

Just recently found your channel and you've got me obsessed with having a crack at chasing trout in the otways! I haven't fly fished since high school and I reckon I need a new fly setup but so far just using celtas, with absolutely no luck as I have no idea what I'm doing but I'm loving it. I tried Cumberland River yesterday, beautiful spot.

How you got that fish out of all those snags, and still landed it (and on a barbless hook to boot) I will never know. Amazing!

Nice video! That looks like a difficult place to get around. How do you think streamers would go for searching those big slow pools?
@tomjarmanfishing320818 күн бұрын
It works and I’ve done it, but is hard to get good access to cast and work through them, then there is also a heap of timber in the pools so you end up hooking up on stuff all the time

I love your videos! What is the dark green line at the end of your fly line?
@tomjarmanfishing32084 күн бұрын
It’ll be the green ‘colour line’ which is a part of my nymphing leader and helps act as an indicator
