Fished the Dream Stream for over 35 years can be very good or very humbling. Now there are just too many people there all the time . Once I was in the parking lot below the dam and the DOW guys were doing a shocking count , I could not believe the Hugh fish they shocked right at the parking lot , unbelievable. The fish move a lot in the river so my suggestion is keep moving.

Wow Im sure you've seen it all there over the years! Its some beautiful water but can humble ya quick for sure. I agree it does seem busy whenever Im there or look up reports (although I am part of the problem lol!). I bet that was so cool to see all those fish! What a neat experience. Thanks for the tip and for the comment, tight lines Michael!

Great job man. Fun watching an unedited hilarious hookset and some gorgeous fish. If you ever want a “fish with subscriber” sitch Colorado is one of my territories. There all the time. ✌️

Haha thank you Ryan I appreciate it! It is a tad embarassing but also funny to watch. And hey thats fishing! Everything can go wrong and you still land the fish lol. That’s awesome, maybe we can hook up sometime and explore some rivers here. Tight lines!

Careful walking in those gravelly areas, that’s where the trout spawn this time of year. Their beds are called redds and a lighter color in the gravel bc the trout cleaned that area. Don’t want to step on those 🙏

Thank you very much for that tip!! I really appreciate that. I definitely do not want to be messing with their beds in any way and will watch my footings more carefully now!

Caught a 24" Cutthroat on the fly out of the Dream Stream while I was stationed in Ft Carson. Still may favorite river to fish.

Nice video! Can you catch fish all winter here?
@DavidDoesStuff128 күн бұрын
Thank ya I appreciate it! And yes Im almost certain you can. The flows can get low so keep an eye on those, but other that that the trout still gotta eat! I like this website to check out flows as well: www.riverreports.com/states/co/
