Fly Fishing the South Platte River in Cheesman Canyon | Deckers, CO

Hello and welcome back to another video! Got some fly fishing in a couple weekends ago on the South Platte River near Deckers, Colorado in the beautiful and rugged Cheesman Canyon. It was a crisp fall morning but the walk to the river warmed me up and the views along the way sure didn't hurt.
Wish I could have put a trout in the bag but a bad day of fishing is better than most other days so can't complain one bit. Thanks for watching and I'll catch ya in the next one!

Thats the truth, pressured but for good reason with all the fish there. But they are smart thats for sure

@@DavidDoesStuff1 Funny last time I was there I dropped the ‘match the hatch’ nymphing everyone says you have to do there with a size 20 wd40 and all that and decided to throw a weighted size 12 rubber leg black stonefly nymph and 3rd cast caught a nice 5 lb rainbow.
