90 fish type of day. Spring creek is incredible. You definitely picked it apart. Nice work explaining the reason for beads and how to use them. I have not been using lead wrap myself either. Helps cuts down bulk too. Thanks for sharing and good mix of content and fishing. Well done Josh!

Thanks for the video tutorial. What kind of net are you using?

Gonna try it. I always felt bead heads looked kinda unnatural but the fish don't seem to mind much!

I know. It’s kinda wild, but I have for sure seen them spook from a bead. Especially on spring crick! But overall, it just works! Have a good one my friend

So, ESN is basically fishing a micro-jig on a tight-line & high stick. Too easy ! Fish on y'all.

Hey who said you were a loud to fish my spot josh lol. Great points there though. I only fish tungsten beaded nymphs and the Gary the weight by the bead size and lead wire under the body

Aye Josh what's the biggest size tungsten fly your throwing.

Great teaching video ! Do you run your bottom fly off a tag line or in line with the top fly? I've been experimenting with using a tag line on my euro rod. I'd be interested in your thoughts on this.

Always tag. 1000%

Hi Josh. Great video. I've yet to try Euro nymph fishing. I think I'm going to get into it soon. I'm glad you enjoy fishing so much and willing to share what you know. Ray

Hello Josh, where do you buy your weighted flies? thanks
@kimlicitar26403 жыл бұрын
Josh, just wondered what your thoughts are of a drop shot rig, using unweighted flies, with the split shot at the very bottom. Is there a situation where drop shotting would be advantageous? I've only been euro nymphing for a year now. It has definitely improved my catch rates. Thank you for sharing your expertise. Kim from Wisconsin

Is there a certain water depth where you switch to split shot for a general rule? Thanks!
@afidbhawkins31733 жыл бұрын
They just use a larger n heavier bead, split shot creates a hinge n not desired in euro style. But it's better to b down where the fish feed,so if you do need to, just do it. No rules just fishing. Tight lines
@TroutYeah3 жыл бұрын
Great comments! Best answer too- no rules! Just fishing. Personally I never use split shot. Just heavier flies like said above! Have a good season !

hey josh, learning how to czech nymph and ive noticed when i drfit my flies through the column i often lose sight of the indicator line(either from the sun or glare). what's your thought on putting something on it like a weightless foam bobber or a big split shot so i can see it better? i need to somehow make that indicator line more visible to me Thanks so much

Ben! Awesome question. What size diameter is the sighter? I’ve also found that Cortland single color in yellow is super easy to see. Adjusting your cast and stopping high and early should help the sighter stay higher in the air to see easier. Polarized glasses? Even in the rain or morning evening, I use the yellow lenses as it helps in low light! Keep in touch my friend
