It's amazing to see how calm the whole team is during quick-changes and greenifying her for act 2. All of the quick changes I've done are super rushed and panicky. Broadway, man!

I'm a dancer haha! And on the last show that we did, we had like two songs (6 minutes!!) to change and we aaaalways panic! Hahaha Even with soo much time for a show! Ahaha

xtyna100 when I did grease ( not on broadway or west end) I had a really quick change and I had to do the same run as the run in defying gravity running down very scary stairs in heels and people behind you was not fun I only had 2 songs but they were not long it I was freaking out but I couldn't make any noise as quick change area was behind the stage

when i did the little mermaid i had 10 minutes to change from a fish to a chef and even that was stressful. my friend who played Ariel legit got to stand behind a prop while singing and had to transform from a mermaid to a human in like 20 seconds and i don’t know how she did it!

Yeah, tbh I was more stressed when Glinda was still chatting in Lindsay’s dressing room at 5 minutes since she needed to get her bubble dress on and get in her bubble and she is in the opening number!

Lily Argent No...during this clip, the show has already started. She said that she came off just as Fiyero was beginning “Dancing Through Life”. As she was changing, you could hear Boq and Nessarose singing their small duet near the end of the song. That means she needed to be back on stage in just a few minutes.

Actually, not to burst your bubble (Get it! BUBBLE! Like Glinda's?) but I think that is not a coincidence at all. She probably has that so she doesn't get disgusted when a clear water bottle gets covered in green. This way she can't see the "dirt"

It's cool to see how when they do shows they are much more calm. Only shows I have ever done are the ones that are finished within a weekend so quick changes are very stressful. When she came in and they were just chilling for her first quick change I was like... UHM. Wow--- That's awesome. Just the fact that all these things have been mastered and the repetitive schedule just shows how on top of things they really are! Love this show. LOVE BROADWAY.

if each act II dress is made for each elphie, I wonder what happens to them when the actress finishes her time in the show? do they keep them, are they donated, is the fabric re used for the next one?

Alley Usually they keep the costumes from each cast. If the next Elphaba is a similar size or the same size they might reuse the same dress, but most likely not. The dress will be put in storage for when the show is ever done regionally, the regional company can rent a costume package from Broadway and use the costumes. However Wicked is so popular that it’s not open to do regionally until it leaves Broadway. Make sense?
