I love how dedicated they are to keeping their voices healthy. I've performed with people who will arrive to the hour-call and not have warmed up, coffee in hand, not giving a damn since they think downing a bottle of water will make it all okay. Lindsay, Derek and everyone else has to be in tip-top shape. Kudos and props to them!

It's probably because Elphaba is such a demanding role, and your voice is worn out really easily doing a show 8+ times a week... Since the ensemble is a smaller role than Elphie, the cast most likely isn't belting like she is.. The voice is so fragile, and it's hard to be belting every night and keep your voice in shape..

I love how totally natural and homeopathic Lindsay is in her approach to vocal health. And then there's the Book of Mormon guys plugging Mucinex! Personally, I think Mucinex is amazing.
