Fly in Camping at Arcadia Municipal Airport

Very cool. I am unable to get my PPL for medical reasons, but fly in Flight Sim quite often. Arcadia is one of my favorite local airports to fly out of or into when I want to take a quick flight. Cool to see a landing into the airport.

BTW, if you haven't already, fly into KVNC and eat at the Suncoast Cafe. Great food, good prices, and wonderful owner/chef Tony.

@@HyphenDude We flew into Venice a few weeks ago and ate at Sharkeys then walked onto the beach. It was a great day there and the food was awesome. Is there a restaurant at the airport that you are talking about? I didn't see one if there was so I guess we will have to go back and try it out. Thank you for the heads up on that!

@@j2pov Yup. It is just inside the FBO. If you walk in off the tarmac, it is in the little hallway to the left of the seating area with the coffee and water. They have great breakfasts (wonderful biscuits and gravy and the best eggs Benedict I have had in a long time) and wonderful lunches (the conch curry is excellent and their Cuban is one of the best I have had here in Florida).

@@j2pov Just make sure to check times. I believe they are closed on Monday and Tuesday. The rest of the days, their hours are 7:30am to 2:30pm.

Don't forget Taco Tuesday every Tuesday at Arcadia Municipal. They always have a great crowd for that. They have an awesome manager named Shelley too!

I didn’t get to meet her but I did talk to her on the phone and she was really nice. She has done a lot to improve this airport for sure. I have not made it to taco Tuesday yet either but we do look forward to making that trip and meeting up with new people with the same aviation passion that we have. Thank you for watching the video. That looks like a fun camping spot. Watch planes all day and eat burgers. I'll have to try it.

It was a really nice spot to fly in and camp. You wont be sorry tried it. The weekend before I was there, They had a large group of Stearman tail draggers staying there
