Angelina started singing when she was 1 1/2 years of age and there is video of her at that age sitting in a bed with a microphone in her hand singing Whitney Houston's "I will always love you ". You need to go back to when Angelina was 6 years old in the studio singing and recording a Tom Jones classic " I who have nothing " and work your way to current day. Angelina is 18 years old now as of January 10th 2024.

Hello gentlemen. As you clearly recognise, despite the absolute professionalism she displays when actually singing, the wonderful child is still very much present. She has the uncanny ability to switch seamlessly, effortlessly and instantaneously between the two modes where, in one moment, she is singing like a serious, seasoned professional, and then in a flash, between phrases or just before or after the song, she is Angelina the child again. I agree Angelina is very clever. She likely has listened to more songs in her 18 years, than I have, in my 66 years. Angelina soaked up all the elements of jazz and makes incredibly clever vocal choices. I like to say, she is one in 10 billion. This song is kind of her feature tune. She has sung it likely more than any other. In 2018 music legend Quincy Jones asked her to sing it at his 85th birthday bash at the O2 Arena in London. She has called Quincy her best friend in the music industry. Quincy called her the most talented child performer he had seen since he worked with Michael Jackson. Sadly, Quincy passed away two weeks ago. Angelina has yet to come out with a public statement, to my knowledge. I'm sure it's been very hard for her. She took it hard when Elvis Presley's daughter Lisa Marie died a couple years ago. AJ had met Lisa Marie and Priscilla, Elvis' wife. However, I suspect AJ was much closer to Quincy so she needs more time before she addresses it. You mentioned the discrepancy of how she sounds like a mature adult when singing, but plays like a child. Wait until you hear her speak like when she says 'Good-bye' after one of her performances just sitting on the family's sofa. The words come out often in a squeaky high pitch tone like most children, yet she can sing in such an amazing lower register.

Gents, this video was seen by the man who arranged it for Mr. Frank Sinatra. Mr Jones was so fascinated that he invited the then 12 year old Angelina Jordan for his 85th Birthday party at Londons O2 Arena. Many producers were surprised. Mr. Marc Ronson send her an original track of Miley Cyrus to sing it. Some people in the industry shook in their shoes, because now their so called singers looked ....... unable, not worth of respect. etc. A vocalist does not need computers for singing. My advise to you is, go to her newest version of her song "Bad Valentine" Piano Diary Jazzy version. Then go back in time again to enjoy her development.
