Improved Componentry. Simplified Design.
Now in it's second generation, the Montucky II builds on all the great features of our best selling Montucky Fly Reel, featuring four different sizes and improved componentry. We've upgraded the fully machined frame, spool, and handle with a stronger and lighter 6061-T6 aluminum. The disk drag is a smooth starting carbon disc system capable of torquing down on hard fighting fish. We've simplified the design for a more rugged and dependable reel with less parts to lose and made it easier to swap from left to right hand retrieve if desired.

You guys are dropping some absolute heat lately, i picked up some flies and the 1st gen montucky and absolutely love it. Use it more than any of my other reels. The project one rod is one of the prettiest rods I’ve seen, definitely going to grab a few when i can. Keep it up! Your customer service is A1 too, loved the “no bananas” sticker

Do you guys sell extra spools for these reels?

We don't because at the price we would have to sell the spool separately, it would make more sense just buying another reel.

Have you gotten the prop 65 stuff figured out so you can ship to CA? Or will I have to roadtrip up there to get my stuff?

Unfortunately we have not. Best option right now is to have it delivered to family member or friend outside of CA and have them ship to you
