5 years ago the hopper hatch was just getting underway on the Owens River. I picked up some tan Baby Boy hoppers, and the trout just crushed them. Great small hopper fly! Tight lines

Thank you for the video & explaining all those. I bought a variety pack of foam to make cicadas, beetles, & hoppers. I'm always looking to learn more about foam patterns.

Just put this video on. Happen to be tying Baby Boy Hoppers when the video came on. Have tied hundreds of Charlie Boy and Baby Boy Hoppers. Have tied many hoppers over the years but my favorite kit is a Baby Boy with Black Two bit hooker. Often add a Ju Ju bee below the TBH. Thanks for these bugs!

Nice. Now I'm curious about all the flies stuck in the truck. I'd like to see that line up. Are they in the visor or the headliner? I betcha they all have stories.

Coming to CO South Park in Sept. These mini tutorials are fantastic for info on new area waters. We’ll stop by on the way.

I have caught some super nice bluegills on the baby boy hopper. I pre Gink or Mucilin paste once out of the vice. One hopper all day and no fussy…I just wipe the slime off hopper on my shirt sleeve…..I don’t mind smelling like fish! The loop knot makes a huge difference on still water. Thanks for your super hopper selection and explanations. Oh got a trick for gills…strip set, then it you get few other chances if the bluegills are just kissing the hopper!
