Thanks for viewing this KZbin fly fishing tutorial, and I encourage you to view my additional videos at the following website: www.troutandfea...
Cammisa's Stealth Mode is a jig nymph that pays homage to tinsel-bodied flies with its use of UNI-Mylar. Though that material has "stealth" tendencies, everything completely changes with the rear hot spot...and fish don't seem to mind. Learn more about this pattern in the video.

Really great pattern Tim. I think by moving the hot spot to the rear of the hook, it will increase hookups

Hey Tim! I tied up a couple of these last night and they look great. I’m wondering if you use these for stocked trout or wild trout primarily or maybe both? Thanks.
@TimCammisa
@TimCammisa 2 жыл бұрын
Hi Nathaniel, and great question. Originally I figured they would work best on stocked fish, but wild trout eat them, too. Here's a sneaky tip: If you fish stillwater that has trout, use this fly there...it's a killer! Hope all is well with you. Tim www.troutandfeather.com

Similar to a French nymph, but yours has a pink but instead of red and you also put tinsel instead of just thread

Can I fish a two fly nymph rig with one jig nymph and on regular nymph-one fly hook up and the other hook Dow? If so, which fly at the bottom?
@TimCammisa
@TimCammisa 5 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the question, Mark, and there's no set rule. If you have a nymph as a dropper (higher and closer to the rod), typically it will be the smaller nymph. If they are both similar sizes, then I would have the jig nymph on the bottom, as it has less of a chance of snagging. Hope that helps, but definitely experiment and see what works for you. Here's a video I made talking about dropper flies: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jpCthn2GYtqhpJY Happy New Year! Tim www.troutandfeather.com

This is a tough one for beginners, so I would recommend taking it to a fly shop and having them help with everything the first time. Good luck, and let me know if you have any more questions. Tim www.troutandfeather.com
