Fly tying "Flash Pike Streamer" Pike fly (Step-by-step tutorial)

I have finally made on of these flies. It is an amazingly shiny mess to work with. Especially for a trout fly tier who uses size 14 flies and smaller. I am happy that it will last for a long time because I used up all the straight flashabou I had including green, red, copper, silver, gold, pearl and black! I am going fishing this weekend and I really hope to catch a pike! I will let you know how I do. All the best, Sean

Use as many colors as you like ;) It is not importent, as long as i glitters the pike will eat it ;)

Some nice videos . Iv just started fishing for pike on the fly and iv had a couple of good fish but not many . Could u point me in the right direction as in what ur most productive flies would be .thanks

Well there are a lot of different flash types. Most ogf the ones that works for pike is not expensive. Take a look at my shop: bluedotmediashop there your can find usefull flash of the rigth kind for 3 eura a pack. and that that is enough for 3-4 flies

That is a huge amount of flash. Do the packages come bigger for the larger flies? I usually tie very small flies, but I am going to take an opportunity to go bass and Pike fishing this week. I don't know if I have enough of two colors to tie this fly. Can three or four colors be used?? All the best, Sean
