Fly Tying: Hackle Stacker Emerger

The hackle stacker technique is a popular one on dry flies, it allows a great profile on the water by allowing the fly to ride low. This fly takes that great technique and applies it to an emerger pattern, creating the ultimate in trout snacks.
Materials:
Hook: Emerger Hook
Tail(Shuck): Z-lon Baetis Olive
Abdomen: Turkey Biot Baetis Olive
Hackle: Medium Dun Saddle
Thorax: Dark Baetis
Thread: Danville 70 Denier Flymaster Plus

Skyler Hardman Can you tell me what kind of dubbing you use? I can’t find anything that looks like it here in Québec.

It's Spirit River dry fly dubbing, but they were bought out by Hareline so you can't get it from their site any more. However I know that Hareline still sells the dubbing so you should be able to order it through any fly shop that carries Hareline products. But if that's not an option you can get it online as well, here is a link so you can see what it looks like.
