squeecky bobbin... add a touch of dubbing wax on the spools hole edges, works like a charm. For fixing the eyes I like to add superglue to the hook before putting the thread on the hook, then only 3-4 windings to secure thread, the offer the dumbell eyes, make a few 5-8 wraps like you did again superglue and a few more wraps. The importance of this is that you place the glue between the 2 materials that need fixing together, instead of putting it on top of it, hoping some of it will get down.

Try applying some wax on your bobbin point holding the tread or the tread hole which you clamp your bobbin to. It will stop that squick.

Also interesting video (look for Mysid Shrimp Schooling in Surge, Humboldt ) seeing them in their natural environment, note they don't much swim, so dead drift fishing probably best. They swim head first, so tail of fly should resemble tail of the shrimp. Interesting creatures, I must tie some for my next trout trip. Another video shows them quite nicely look for : Mysid shrimp

Remove the spool and rub the bobbin holder down the side of your nose .The natural oils from your skin will cure the noisy bobbin Old pro tip👍
