That's very nice, liked the way you handled the starling. It's a really delicate material, I haven't used it for years, maybe I'll go back to it. Got a couple of spools of Pearsalls floss in that shade, now I have a use for them. Just one small grouse. Americans use wraps, we use turns. 😂

Great tying Robert. Just a question; do you varnish the heads, as I’ve not seen you do it on any of these flies ??

I think he says on another video that he doesn't bother with varnishing the heads, just well waxed thread instead.
