i need a skill builder on tying down wire, like after wrapping the ribbing on a nymph. Whenever I use round wire like brassie size or bigger, I have all kinds of issues. The thread always wants to slide down the wire and I struggle to get it securely anchored and tied down consistently. there has to be some kind of trick to get consistent results.

FYI, if you have some pretty ugly looking Maribou, you can brush it out with a Stumpo Velcro brush, and it improves the feathers look by at least two times. I learned this from the Ozarks flying guy tutorial.

One of the things that bugs me about beads...they give us a size...which is great, because we need to know.... But they never, ever, give us a weight. Grams, grains, ounces, I don't care...I can convert...but tell me what they weigh...
