The toughest pike fishing tournament in the world is officially back. 8 teams spread out across Europe will battle each other for three days in a test of skills, strategy and endurance as they try to outdo each other in the hunt for the win.

We will be there with our own stand, and in connection with the Sportfishing Fair, we will on Saturday March 16th arrange a final event at Krog & Co, where we, together with the participants, can see the incredibly exciting resolution of this years season.

To clarify, no team is cheating using live sonar in fly vs jerk, all okay by the rules. The method is used to locate fish and serves as an edition to side imaging and other less live freqency options. This is not allowed to be used for actively tracking fish behavior, meaning they can’t use to see if the fish followes or not. In other terms, it can’t be used to verify if a fish is raised. Why? The main reason is that the anglers in the show are very focused on catching fish. So focus that they may end up with their backs against the camera for three days straight. That’s makes for quite a boring show, that’s pretty clear. In addition to this, There is very little evidence that the method is actually plays a significant role in catching more fish and even less so in winning tournaments. The method brings a lot of confidence to the anglers but also sometimes stops them for searching out more water. Great anglers knows their water, they present their baits perfectly and wait for the dinner bell. It’s a hunt and it’s a waiting game. Westin was earlier heavily criticized for using this method in Zander Pro, but in fact, even so there team being quite the experts on the method, it did not secure a win. Our tournaments point system will make sure that no method is the only method. Everything comes in to play, time on the water, small fish, heavy fish, long fish. Sonar….not really. The winning teams of fly vs jerk win due to proper preparation, extreme pre-fishing, local knowledge and balls of steel. This is not for the weak, not only do they want to provide a great show for you guys, they sometimes have this as their life line and main income. We have the deepest respect for that. We thank all industries in the trades working to make our fishing more entertaining and will moderate this segment of comments very strict as it’s clearly out of promotion. Hope this clarifies things for all of you who patiently follow the show and hope for the next exciting episode.

Jea, two things. 1. Joining to thous who sais, that there is not inaf flyfishing teams. Two would be minimum. 2. Do not understand why you can't fish with sonar, but use it for detecting fish can? Not really logical for me. Otherwise, nice to see new teams and like always, good show, greait editing and nice to watch.

OK, people are deleting their comments so I cant comment back, sure that's fine. But hey all you fly fishing people and everybody offended by technology: it's a pike fishing competition, the goal is to catch the biggest pike. It's not introducing noobs to catching nothing all on the fly. Or either with or without live. It's about catching big pike. At least that's all I wanna see. There are loads of street fishing shows you can watch if you want to, and there is no big pike caught. Happy for you! With that said get the haters out, and show me some more big pike!

Holland is overpressured waters. Too much fisherman in a small country, creating pikes more and more follow no takes. In the larger european countries you can have the whole area for yourself. Germans and belgiums are massively fishing holland as well somehow just because of commercialization. Its not illegal, but is its counterproductive.

Спасибо за поддержку. Мы ничего не нарушили. В правилах четко сказано, что искать рыбу с паноптиксом можно. Нельзя делать заброс и проводку с включенным прибором. Более того, мы заранее уточнили организаторов, можно ли пользоваться приборами для поиска рыбы и подучили подтверждение. Почем вы не обвиняете организаторов в том, что они не доносят правила до зрителей, но обвиняете нас, за то, что мы эти правила соблюдаем?

Прошлые сезоны команда Leech все три дня держала турнир в режиме натянутой струны - они шли за ОДНОЙ, той самой поклевкой. Все боялись поимки щуки от них. В этот раз в Нидерландах три команды встретились и... такое сабе😂 Лодке Трумана несмотря на санкции все равно удалось таки урвать балл Антон, давай уже душить начинай ! Hi everyone from team Frapp-Zetrix. Fly vs Jerk 15 rules say that teams can not use live sonars while fishing. Live sonar can be used for searching and detecting fish and structures. Screen has to be shut off when you cast and retrieve. What we did was totally with the rules.
