Did this route earlier this week. Ended up on the E175 on the way down and this exact Dash 8 on the way back. Thoroughly enjoyable both ways. Great video too!

+inflight Video I know yeah, had the whole first row to myself aswell. Extra leg room for free! I was chuffed aha. it was dark on the way back for me sadly, the approach into Southampton is lovely though. Made for a great trip.

inflight Video During the winter schedule, on Fri sou-man (8.50pm) was always a Embraer 175 and was the return on the Monday Man-sou at 7.20pm. It was alot smoother in a jet during the winter weather. You can tell which aircraft you'll be on by selecting the seat option, if the diagram has 21 rows then it's a dash 8, if it has 23 rows or above then it's a jet. :)

Hey Noel! I really enjoy the videos you make of these full flights! However, I think you don’t have enough videos without ATC... This might be awesome for many people, but in my case, I like to use these to study and the ATC can get pretty agressive by times! I really enjoy what you make and please don’t stop anytime soon! +OnBoardHD Dash8s are cool. I've flown on quite a flew Flybe ones, and although they're getting a little tired now they are sporty little aircraft and pretty cool to fly on. Watching the landing gear retract/extend never gets old! And yep I was pretty surprised by how nice the approach to Southampton is, beautiful lush scenery!

+OnBoardHD Ah, Austrian's are very nice, a lot smarter and tidier than Flybe's. I flew BHX-BRU on one before I started filming my flights, it was operating for Brussels Airlines.

Two questions, how do you fund all these flight!? I do flight reviews on my channel every few times a year but only because I can't afford to do them this much! My second question is where do you get the ATC from? I thought it was illegal to stream UK ATC online so I'm assuming you have one of those box devices that receive ATC communications? +David WoodAviation I tend to pick up cheap deals/error fares from time to time, and just spend a couple of days flying and filming every couple of months :) I try to do enough to release a full flight every month, and as of now I've got 12 flights booked so enough to go through until February 2017 :) With regards to the ATC situation, well it depends on the airport. There *are* online ATC feeds around the UK on some websites such as GlobalTuners and RadioReference (they are private and you have to log in to access) so you can tune and record, or on some websites pull the archives. For this flight, the ATC was recorded on the ground at MAN by Aviation HD, and through the flight from the ground at Manchester (until we were around Birmingham), from my software scanner I run at home (which is along the route) and GlobalTuners as you get further south.

+Martin Hodgson Just the ATC for my flight :) There was a lot of other traffic inbound which would have been non-stop over the aircraft sound so I just tend to include the relevant parts (I sometimes put in the other traffic when it's applicable to the flight I'm on, such as aircraft holding short for us).

+EasyPCUK You can connect your scanner directly to a video recorder or voice recorder, and from home I use a software-based scanner which has a record function. The same for GlobalTuners, I leave it running and record it on the PC!
