My company, Troutlodge, stocks that lake and many others in Grant County. Glad to see our hard work paying off and making people smile!

Definitely put a smile on my face on this day! That is awesome - thank you for sustaining this lake. Any plans to place Browns and/or Tiger back in the lake?

Not as far as I know, we only deal with rainbow trout. I would love to see those back though.

Thanks! I need to invest in a GoPro exclusively for the underwater stuff...always screws up the iPhone mic for at least an hour...Lol

I enjoy your video, Dan. You fish the places that I have fished or wanted to fish, and you show the country that surrounds the lakes and streams as I remember them. I am no longer fishing. Heath reasons. But these bring back pleasant memories that go back more than sixty years.

I really love the drone footage on this one. Great choice of shots! Especially while you were fishing, so cool to see the lake structure

Thanks Mark!! I’ve always been curious about what is above that ridge. The layers on the hillside, I can’t even imagine the history behind that. The dark rust color and defined line of white. What is that???

I have many fond memories from fishing there with my son and some of my very best friends, sadly some are gone now. I had many fine fine fish I remember on an opening day on chironomids when there was snow and ice, and damsel flies did the trick when it started to warm up. What a great set of lakes, I sure miss them and especially my dear fly fishing friends. Thanks for the memories Dan!

Just there the other week definitely one of my favorite spots I grew up fishing. Cool to see the drone shot over the ridge.

Thank you! I as well - first time for me at this lake was 17 years old back when Browns and Tigers were all over the lake. Miss those days! The drone does add a nice element for sure!

I haven't fished that lake in decades. For sure some big trout in there. My best bud and I were tube fishing early in the season dragging nymphs, he was day dreaming when one of the big ones hit his rod so hard he almost had his rod taken out of his hands! Fish ended up breaking him off, but the bend in the rod indicated it was a big one. Will have to go back. Thanks.

It's not like it used to be back in the day, but it's stocked regularly, and you can still get into a 2-3-pound trout.

Now we're talking! Nice Eastern WA lunkers. Nothing more fun that having a fish rip the line from your reel. Have not fished this lake yet but it's on my short list.

I’m watching these videos 2yrs from now lol it would be awesome to fish with you Dan! I’ve just started my fly fishing career last year and though it’s expensive I’ve had so much fun catching rainbows that I’ve ever had before! I live in Cheney area for school but in Tacoma for the summer would be awesome to fly fish with you if at all possible ! Blessings!

A Thermacell works well without the chemicals that can melt your fly line (DEET)
