I've watched a lot of fly tying vids and this is one of the best. You go through this fly in perfect detail with a flow that is easy to follow. Plus, one can't dispute how effective this fly is in the water. I"m a dedicated Euro Nympher and this is one of my favorite point flies. Thank you!

This is hands down one of the most effective nymph patterns there is, in my opinion! I tie them anywhere from a size ten down to an 18 and they catch fish. I've caught lots and lots of trout on this pattern and even caught carp on a size 10. I'm not sure what it is about this pattern but I've caught fish on this when nothing else would work. As always I enjoy your channel!

Nicely done Charlie. I like what you did managing the hackle. I make my own bodkins using bamboo chopsticks and a thin needles ( a trick I learned from Rim Chung ). Instead of head cement I use a small drop of Super Glue on the tip of my bodkin to make sure the thread doesn't come undone.

I was going to tie up some blow torches and noticed your earlier vidios use black peacock ice dub ,but your latest uses hares ear.....witch one is recommended ,or just tie some up both ways
