Gotta run a ViFly Finder on every quad, if you crash out, battery comes unplugged, it will start screeaching! A loud ass beep and a strobe light that goes for days on a tiny built in battery. #NoQuadsLeftBehind

bet the explosions were messing with the gyro, maybe causing desyncs in the escs which effected both quads, charles had failsafes and Ken's just was like nope. When I had desync failsafes it just fell out of the sky like his. Yeah this totally makes sense, the explosions would totally confuse the gyro's unless maybe you had a notch filter at their frequency.

very nice ! Could they have been using 'remote control firing system ' for the firewiorks ? I don't know what frequency they use; but it might have caused a problem; instead of hard wiring the foreworks to a controller, It might have been a problem; flying that close to the transmitter or receivers (firing module) near the fireworks...just a thought...??? say Hi to Todd :-) ...

I would have popped up my goggles when the DJI blacked out, and flown it back LOS, one of the many benefits of having bright ass LED's 👌 done it on the drift track when i got plugged in on, just feet off the ground 😎

Hey Ken so idk if you know this but since your DJI if you take a DJI 02 unit and put a vista runcam wasp cam on it. It will pretty much have night vision. I use to fly in the dark doing freestyle like that. Now I just use HDzero and analog predator nano cam.

Fly drones away from aerial salutes, these produce shockwaves that could destabilize a drone or throw debris that can easily damage the drone. If you are really unlucky and a salute is within a couple of feet of your drone it will become little pieces and fly in different directions at once!

Do you know how powerful a salute is? No matter how well built a FPV drone is, it will not survive a direct contact with that type of firework, 70 grams of flash powder is very destructive.

Oh wow, yeah there must have been some fairly strong interference going on. Didn't seem like you guys were that far, or had any obstruction. Always good to check what signals are in the air and what frequency/bandwidth they are. Some sort of 5ghz short range firework transmitter may have been used as someone else mentioned. Which is why you wouldn't have seen it prior to the fireworks themselves. Aren't surprises fun? 😂🎉 You guys did a terrific job though. Juice man is a soldier, he got swatted down over and over & kept going back for more. 🤩Da Juice🧃
