Hey Tony! So I am the CFI in the video. Gareth is spot on with his response. We weren’t under any instruction to log hours toward a cert. That said, I am still just as relaxed while instructing. Now do I go off cussing up a storm with a new student? No. I tend to evolve into whatever personality works best for the student. Come fly with me!

As a trained pilot with an ifr rating from Tasmania I can say this plane is very small and probably a bit dangerous to be flying in the Florida thermals. I had a friend here who ended up in the flight levels down in boca.

No brs not getting in. Getting into a single engine is an automatic emergency. I fly Jets and im trained when I have one engine it is tie to be walking.
@ZeroThreeDelta

Good for you on the jets. However, single engine here in FL is more common than anything else. My dad had 40+ years experience in flying single engine here - not a single issue to report.

@@ZeroThreeDelta I don’t know, seems a bit dangerous. Do you have a flight school with any brs planes down there. I’d like to learn how to fly ha again since I’ve been away from pistons for 14 years. I’m now retired but have a small whiners up her in PA
@ZeroThreeDelta

@@Mobev1The fact that you find single engine dangerous suggests you’ve been away from GA for far too long! LSA - I’d avoid that but there are PLENTY of places that will do instruction on 172SP’s or Archer III’s. You should try it!
