Naver maps. I don't know what locals use for airspace (seemingly nothing because they fly wherever they want), but I use some airspace maps from work and compare it to the route I fly that day or memorize it for my local takeoff spot.

Suoer cool stuff dude!The video we need... Can you go xc and fly mostly thermals, and use engine assist? Like see how long you can stretch a tank of gas?
@MarkHuneycutt5 жыл бұрын
You can definitely thermal. Stretching the gas tank all depends on wing loading and wing efficiency. With a bigger wing I use less fuel but fly slower. Smaller wing, I burn more fuel and fly faster. Bigger wing will typically allow me to thermal better too. Typically us motor pilots dont thermal too much with the paramotor on our back.

Can we get a review for the pap please I’m interested in buying one
@MarkHuneycutt5 жыл бұрын
I might eventually. It's not on my short list of things to record because I'm only 9 hours into the motor and I'd like a little more time before review. However, here is what I can tell you about it thus far: I'm coming from the Nitro 200 so I like the power upgrade. The PAP harness has a nicely padded harness on your back, free flight like airbag on the bottom for safety, phone pocket, plastic windows for tachometer - all things I've never seen on other paramotors and it is because the harness is a custom Supair harness made for PAP. The transportability for the PAP is awesome. Breakdown of the hoop is super quick and the flat arms help as well. It has a few features built into the arms to help with torque compensation as well as the torque strap. Throttle is better on the PAP due to the clean routing and cruise control - a feature I've used a bunch in my 9 hours of flying it. The gas tank is easier to fill than most motors because the fill port sticks out the side which means you can use your standard gas cans and not solely the ones with long hoses (My buddy Greg was throwing out his gas cans because his Paramotor gas tank is hard to fill with them so I said "nooo let me have them" and I scored two free gas cans). It's a well thought out paramotor.

It's not pollution it haze and humidity. We get the same thing in Taiwan...where I am. If the haze that you see was actually pollution you wouldn't be able to breath and it would smell toxic. Most times when I cross the ocean you get that same haze for hundreds of miles and not a factory or island in sight.

@shotime955 жыл бұрын
Just saying since you brought it up, you should really consider wearing masks when you're flying in poor air quality. The haze you see now and then is mostly heavy metal particles that originate from the factory compounds in the east shore of China, and they allegedly could do some serious damage to your respiratory system when you're exposed to them without protection for too long. Not sure if it gets better up in altitude, but I'd still recommend wearing KF94 grade masks. You can find them in convenience stores and pharmacies, or order them in bulk online. Also in case you haven't so far, do check the 'fine dust' levels every day before you go on flying.
@AlaynaDickersonPilot5 жыл бұрын
Not bald but bankrupt !!!!!!!! @markhuneycutt I am bringing the masks with me this time and you will wear it when air is bad and you will like it! 😘
@shotime955 жыл бұрын
@@AlaynaDickersonPilot You two are lovely ;) I'm no expert but these particles tend to accumulate in your lungs over the years, and can definitely do harm in the long term. I can say this because I've been in Korea my entire life and have watched this issue emerge and have a real effect on people's lives. Just make sure to wear the mask and don't reuse it for another day as the particles render the filter ineffective after one day use(which is why I recommend buying in bulk). I also strongly advise against flying at all when the dust levels peak out, and trust me they do peak out every once in a while. Since he's not staying here for too long it might not matter that much, but as you know it's better to be safe than sorry XD
