Nice training video. I had trouble getting training because of the unpredictable inland high winds. Twice, due to weather, I had to return home without the training but eventually, I trained myself which meant I had a fool for an instructor. I did learn that the Green Eagle is built like no other trike and is probably the safest ppg trike available. I have had my Green Eagle more than a year now and highly recommend it. If you will be flying inland, then get trained inland.

Very informative. One thing I noticed that you talked about was the wing going side to side because of low pwr. thats one problem I have with my Monster.

Why does everyone omit to mention one of the most important things, weather it's wings or other equipment and accessories!? We have'nt all got heaps of money to throw at this hobby ( sport ). PRICE!! Just give us the price according to the date when blog was posted, or at least an estimate. Are you worried that You're prices are so inflated that we'll baulk and search elsewhere? This is not just you, but the whole industry! It's damd annoying and your not doing us or yourselves any favors. If you really care about your customers as you all say, then "GET REAL"!!!

@@donaldvaldes5680 Hi, we have our prices on line. With Green Eagle we only sell certified gliders from very famous companies and their prices are available. 2019 Green Eagle are all closed loop fuel injected, any color any them on this 05/09/1019 is 11,700 with a 8700 build deposit. We train at our facility based on specials and prices listed on our training syllabus. These are aircraft NOT welded or made with cheap materials but can easily obtain an N number due to the certified aircraft materials AN hardware and Aircraft drawn over mandrel seamless 6061 T6. We have 900 .00 in just bolts and fasteners. I believe our prices are very low and will be going up in the near future as we have to hire people and support larger growth. It is 20K or a side by side 4 wheeler made in another country and yet we can fly for thousands less. i think personal flight is more Democratized than any time in History. If someone cant give you a price their is a lot of competition that will. Being able to have training, an aircraft that is warrantied up to three years made with real aircraft construction and materials, and certified glider NOT made in China for 15K is awesome. At the end of the day in most cases, anything you buy you get what you pay for. Nothing like being at 6 thousand feet when you have a failure in a flying lawn chair made in China and you think to yourself how much you saved before burning in. Some people do price gouge we see it a lot. We see tiny engines that have no warranties selling for 15K and more, and some buyers think its better because it cost more than our Eagles. So if people cant give you a price like anything else find someone who will and stand by their product in writing. Ride the Sky US Paragliding

Back pack motors on trike have a tough time when starting out so fold both sides of the glider in at about 4 cells, the set up a shallow V. back trike or quad way into the glider to get a bit of a snap so you can keep some momentum and your glider will stay over head. If you have the Edel Atlas its 15 year old Tech not bad just old. Let the trim out 1 inch so it will not hang back. Always find a wind target and see our flying a trike video to help out. Ashton B

Hi Bill The speed we get on a velvet 29 depends on weight. Tim says his eagle will do over 50. I have had it over 40 airspeed and 56 ground speed. Tim is taller than me he is 6 foot 9. See Tim's green eagle and flying at kitty hawk you will see him flying his velvet

Just a suggestion. Run your Throttle cable OVER your forearm from inside so that it lays over your arm. This will lessen the chance that the long throttle cable you have there will get sucked into the prop causing a really bad day.
@ashtonb32
@ashtonb32 7 жыл бұрын
You can do that and sometimes our new students use a strap on their forearm. Some people even have netting. It's very hard to get throttle to the prop. As it's on a stand off right behind seat. Thanks fly Safe Ride the Sky

We use gliders that are purpose built like the Dudek Cabrio, the ITV bull dog , and the Charger from Mac Para. Starting in size 34 and going to 42 for tandem use. You don't have to have a large glider just a good reinforced one for longevity and safety. feel free to reach out to US Paragliding or FlyGreenEagle.com for questions as i often miss these.

You know all gear has its purpose. I just got a call saying that a Rep from that company said we didn't have any power among many other bad things, and that their product you are trading in had way more power . I will let you compare our trainer with the smallest prop and you decide. look forward having you fly with us wether it be foot launch or wheel. fly Safe Fly Green

You can use a steering bar, or foot steering, or lower your breaks. But once in the air you can let the brakes go or relax you arms in a pressurized wing. Any questions feel free to call any time flygreeneagle.com. 210-724-5086.

Whomever that "Rep" was needs to lay off the Kool-aid. His combination of wing, and Monster is gutless, I say this from experience. Unless you have 10 -20 acres with zero obstacles.
