I love how easy it is to get to orbit you just have to actualt learnt eh mechanics and try the best and learn mistakes i havenplayed ksp since 2015 with 1.2 k hours its super easy now for mw but they probaly dont have mich hours and yeah

ion engines + batteries + solar panels, you burn using the batteries for a good amount of time then stop and let the solar panels recharge..... they are good for long slow burns to extend orbits out without using much fuel.

ion thrusters barely produce any thrust, they are best for loooooooooooong burns, so they are really not useful for getting into kerbin's orbit
